The attorney will collaborate with departments like procurement, information security, and operations to ensure smooth procurement processes and legal compliance.
Other duties include updating firm templates, creating playbooks, training staff on consistent contracting standards, and staying current with relevant legal developments. The attorney will also help standardize procurement practices across the firm. The role requires a Juris Doctor (JD) and at least three years of experience in procurement or contract law, with a proven track record in negotiating and drafting agreements. Strong negotiating, drafting, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage complex legal issues and maintain confidentiality. Familiarity with technology solutions, such as cloud-based providers and artificial intelligence, is preferred.
The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $150,000, depending on qualifications, with benefits including health care, retirement benefits, paid time off, and performance-based bonuses.
