Our client is seeking an Intellectual Property Prosecution Paralegal for their New Jersey or New York office with at least five years of experience in a law firm setting. This role involves preparing and filing U.S. and international trademark and patent prosecution documents, including applications, renewals, and office action responses. The paralegal will also manage communications with clients and foreign counsel, conduct trademark clearance searches, and assist with due diligence on trademark portfolios and IP-related corporate transactions. Responsibilities include supporting litigation efforts by preparing TTAB filings, UDRP actions, and monitoring third-party trademark use.
Additionally, the role involves managing IP docketing, ensuring deadlines are met, and handling copyright applications. Candidates must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in MS Office, Relativity, and Concordance, with iManage experience considered a plus. A college degree or paralegal certificate is required. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $76,500 to $179,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
