Practice Specialist I- Litigation

Our client is looking for a Litigation Secretary/Practice Specialist I to join their Dallas office. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in litigation support within a law firm, with a strong understanding of trial procedures and federal, state, and appellate court rules. Responsibilities include preparing and filing legal documents, managing calendars and travel, overseeing case management, and providing billing support. This role requires excellent organizational and administrative skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, often requiring overtime, including evenings and weekends.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for those holding a bachelor’s degree or some college experience. Strong spelling, grammar, attention to detail, and time management skills are essential. Proficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, and Teams is necessary, along with experience in document management systems. The position operates in a hybrid environment, requiring at least four days in the office each week. A secretarial certification or ABA-approved paralegal certification is preferred, although not mandatory.
