Our client is seeking an M&A Associate to join their growing mergers and acquisitions team in either Akron or Cleveland. The candidate will handle drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on mergers, acquisitions, and business entity governance, and providing guidance on the formation, restructuring, and choice of business entities. This role also involves assisting with due diligence efforts, post-deal integration, and staying updated on relevant laws and regulatory developments.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, with a background in business, tax, commercial transactions, lending, finance, or accounting being preferred. Strong drafting, research, analytical, and writing skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team.
