Our client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation/Labor and Employment Paralegal to join their Troy office. The role involves assisting attorneys with various aspects of litigation, including discovery, document management, and maintaining electronic case files. Key responsibilities include preparing legal documents, formatting briefs, and managing all aspects of discovery and trial preparation. The Paralegal will also handle case management tasks, ensure confidentiality, and stay updated on litigation requirements.
Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong proofreading and editing abilities. They must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks. Knowledge of federal and state court filings is essential, as well as proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Professional. A minimum of 5-7 years of legal support experience in Litigation and Labor & Employment is required, with a Paralegal Degree or Certificate preferred.
