Director (eDiscovery/Information Governance)

The Director of eDiscovery and Information Governance is a critical role responsible for enhancing the firm’s position in eDiscovery and information governance. The successful candidate will lead various client engagements by analyzing documents and data sources, facilitating meetings, and developing clear and concise communications. Key responsibilities include driving client relationships through proactive engagement, addressing ambiguity in projects, and collaboratively contributing to client teams. 

Candidates should possess strong technical, client management, and project leadership skills, alongside a solid understanding of information systems related to data preservation and collection. Essential experiences include management of eDiscovery providers, mobile device data, and familiarity with data retention policies. A minimum of ten years in a related field is required, along with a bachelor’s degree in legal studies or a relevant area; advanced degrees or certifications are preferred. The role offers a salary range of $200,000 - $240,000. The role also demands the ability to travel up to 35% of the time and work with remote teams. Physical demands include the occasional lifting of light objects, manual dexterity for keyboard use, and the ability to function in a standard office setting devoid of significant physical discomforts.
