Our client is seeking a Legal Assistant to support their growing Labor & Employment practice. The role involves a variety of administrative and transactional management tasks. Key responsibilities include preparing and editing legal documents, managing correspondence, proofreading for accuracy, and maintaining electronic files and databases. The Legal Assistant will also manage calendars and deadlines, schedule meetings, process invoices, and handle office duties like copying and scanning. Additional responsibilities include drafting legal requests, coordinating with clients and vendors, and assisting with special projects.
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word, particularly with styles and redlining, is required, and knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Visio, and iManage is a plus.
This role offers a salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience and performance, and requires someone who can thrive both in a team setting and with independent initiatives.
