Conflicts Attorney

The Conflicts Attorney will identify, review, analyze, and resolve conflicts of interest for incoming legal personnel and new clients across the firm's offices. Reporting to the Director of Conflict Services, Associate General Counsel, and General Counsel, the role involves creating and maintaining conflict waivers, reviewing client Outside Counsel Guidelines for compliance, and assisting in the implementation of Ethical Walls.

Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and resolving conflicts related to new hires and new business.
- Consulting with the Director of Conflict Services and General Counsel’s Office.
- Following up with lawyers and firm personnel for conflict clearances, waivers, and engagement letters.
- Training new Conflicts Analysts and Coordinators on the Model Rules of Professional Conduct.

Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited institution.
- Admission to a state bar in good standing.
- Minimum of two years' experience in conflict research, identification, and resolution at a major law firm or financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle time-sensitive projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred experience includes analyzing conflicts for complex transactional matters and lateral hires. The salary range is $150,000 to $200,000, based on qualifications, experience, education, and location. Periodic physical presence in the office may be required.
