The Marketing Department of our client seeks a Director of Business Development for corporate and transactional practices, covering areas such as corporate finance, tax, real estate, and bankruptcy. This position reports to the Chief Business Development and Marketing Officer and is based in New York or Washington, DC. The Director plays a crucial role in enhancing revenue growth and the firm’s market position by developing strategic business growth campaigns, managing industry initiatives, generating new business through events and partnerships, and creating impactful pitch materials and RFP responses. Key duties include collaborating with practice leaders to strategize for transactional services, overseeing firmwide business development activities, leading pitches and RFP processes, facilitating training for attorneys, and managing a team of business development professionals. The role involves maintaining CRM systems and supporting firm involvement in legal networks. The anticipated salary ranges from $250,000 to $350,000, dependent on qualifications, experience, education, and location.
