Business Development Coordinator

A law firm is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to support marketing and business development efforts within its Litigation Department, including White Collar, Complex Litigation, and Securities Enforcement practice groups. Based in New York or Washington, D.C., the role involves assisting with proposals, pitches, legal ranking submissions, and coordinating events such as conferences, sponsorships, and speaking engagements. The coordinator will collaborate with attorneys, business development managers, and marketing staff to develop compelling proposals, conduct industry research, and maintain marketing collateral. Additional responsibilities include tracking business development opportunities, leveraging CRM and experience databases, and working with the marketing communications team to promote the firm’s brand.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least one year of relevant experience in marketing, business development, or proposals, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment. Strong writing, organizational, and project management skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems. The position requires the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with attorneys and staff. The anticipated salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000, with eligibility for overtime and a potential discretionary bonus based on experience and performance.
