Our client is seeking a mid-level associate to join their International Trade Compliance (ITC) practice in Washington, DC or New Haven, CT. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of trade compliance experience, including knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Foreign Assets Control (sanctions) regulations, and Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS) regulations. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in investigating and drafting voluntary disclosures and developing compliance policies. Previous in-house or government experience is a plus. The role requires excellent writing skills, the ability to work closely with clients, and a good sense of humor. Salary expectations range from $175,000-$225,000.
