Employment Litigation Attorney

Our client, an AV-rated® firm designated one of the “Best Companies to Work For” among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking an Employment Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of employment litigation experience to join their team in Los Angeles and Torrence. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.
 
The Labor and Employment practice includes employment discrimination, workplace harassment, wage, and hour defense, as well as traditional labor law matters.
 
NOTE:  The firm will consider any attorney with a California Bar license and relevant experience who resides elsewhere in California. This position would be largely remote with an occasional visit to the office as needed. Hourly or part-time work options available. 

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of litigation experience defending federal and state wage and hour cases, including collective and class actions.
  • Experience handling investigations before the U.S. Department of Labor, the California Department of Industrial Relations, the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, EEOC and other state and local human rights agencies.
  • Experience appearing before the National Labor Relations Board regarding matters related to union organizing, collective bargaining, unfair labor practices, union elections, and arbitrations.
  • Experience handling employment litigation in federal and state court.
  • JD from an ABA accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in California.

The total annual compensation range for this position is $135,000 - $200,000.  Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
