The IP Litigation Specialist is responsible for managing intellectual property litigation processes, ensuring compliance with legal rules and regulations while maintaining accurate documentation and client communication. Core responsibilities include exceptional verbal and written communication, administrative management, and meticulous attention to detail in docketing and file management. The role involves drafting, editing, and proofreading various legal documents, reports, and correspondence, while effectively prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. Key skills required are strong organizational capabilities, proficiency in litigation docketing and Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to conduct thorough quality checks on document productions. This position supports ongoing litigation tasks by coordinating project files, generating reports, and assisting in setting up review databases. Additionally, candidates should have current experience in IP litigation with a minimum of three years in a law firm environment, preferably with involvement in managing IP trials. A high school diploma is required, although a college degree is preferred. Potential travel may be necessary to provide assistance at depositions, mediations, and trials.
