Conflicts Administrator

The Conflicts Administrator, based in Washington, DC, is responsible for researching and analyzing complex business relationships to identify potential legal conflicts. This senior-level role provides conflict analysis support to attorneys and staff by conducting research on new clients, performing conflict checks, advising junior staff, summarizing potential conflicts, and maintaining database integrity. The administrator also collaborates with peers to manage departmental workflow, review complex assignments, and oversee training for staff and new attorneys. Additionally, the role involves reviewing lateral attorney conflicts and being available for urgent matters on a rotating basis.

Key responsibilities include conducting research using databases such as Mergent, SEC Filings, Lexis, and Westlaw, analyzing reports, corresponding with attorneys and staff, and assisting the Director and General Counsel with special projects. The position requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with proficiency in Intapp Open, MS Office Suite, iManage, and legal research tools. A bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for research-related fields. At least five years of experience in conflicts, legal research, or paralegal work is required, with supervisory experience preferred. The salary range is $99,461.60 to $149,192.40 per year, depending on experience, education, and qualifications.
