Our client is looking for a Litigation Legal Assistant to join its insurance coverage litigation team. The role requires a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual capable of multi-tasking and working independently. Key responsibilities include providing administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, reviewing and proofreading a variety of documents, producing accurate paperwork promptly, and filing documents with courts. The assistant will also manage attorneys' calendars using Outlook, track case deadlines in the docketing program, and maintain electronic client files. Additional tasks involve preparing drafts for pleadings and motions, overseeing deposition arrangements, and handling other administrative duties as required. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook as well as PDF software. The ideal candidate is detailed-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A strong grasp of grammar and punctuation is essential.
