Business Development Manager- Litigation

Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to support its Antitrust and Competition & International Arbitration practices. This role involves collaborating with senior attorneys, practice group leaders, and the Marketing and BD team to develop and execute business development, marketing, and communication strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation or transactions business development within a law firm environment.

Key responsibilities include working with attorneys to create and monitor business plans, develop marketing budgets, and prepare for Management Committee meetings. The Manager will identify business opportunities, craft client pitch materials, coordinate with BD teams on cross-practice initiatives, and support lateral attorney integration. Additionally, they will oversee external sponsorships, speaking engagements, and client-focused programs.

Marketing duties involve managing practice events, preparing submissions for legal directories, drafting client communications, and maintaining website and promotional content. The role also includes training Litigation BD Specialists in proposal drafting, event management, content development, and CRM tracking.

Candidates must possess excellent communication and leadership skills, be highly organized, and have proficiency in marketing technology. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and a salary range of $170,000 - $247,500, based on experience and location.
