The ideal candidate has at least seven years of experience, a bachelor’s degree, and a paralegal certificate, with a strong focus on trust and estate administration, probate processes, and tax return preparation.
Key responsibilities include meeting with clients and beneficiaries, preparing estate and gift tax returns, managing asset transfers, drafting probate documents, and handling fiduciary accounting. The role requires familiarity with local court procedures (LASC, SDSC, OCSC) and the ability to draft complex documents such as wills, trusts, and related estate planning materials. Regular duties involve communication with financial institutions, managing guardianship and conservatorship proceedings, and resolving asset administration issues.
This role requires strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills and four in-office workdays per week in Los Angeles. The position offers a salary range of $130,000-$145,000, contingent on experience. ADA requirements include desk work, light lifting (up to 20 lbs.), and close-proximity team collaboration.
