The Litigation Paralegal for Product Liability plays a critical role in managing case files, preparing materials for attorney or client review, and utilizing various computer applications for case management. Key duties include assisting in the document production process—ensuring proper tagging, redaction, and quality control—while guiding clients on ESI preservation and collection processes. The paralegal will also interact with E-Discovery vendors, draft legal correspondence, and conduct investigative research. This includes reviewing documents, analyzing data, and assisting in the preparation of depositions and trial materials, such as witness binders and electronic presentations.
Collaboration is essential, as the paralegal will coordinate with internal departments and external sources to compile necessary information while managing larger cases proactively. Additional responsibilities involve organizing workspaces and filing motions, briefs, and other legal documents accurately. Applicants are required to have at least five years of relevant experience, along with a Bachelor’s Degree or paralegal certificate. The expected annual billable hours for this position is 1600, exclusive of overtime calculations.
