Real Estate Paralegal/Senior Paralegal (NYC)

The Real Estate Paralegal/Senior Paralegal will support attorneys in real estate transactions and corporate matters by drafting legal documents, coordinating closings, reviewing due diligence materials, and managing entity formations. Responsibilities include preparing and revising real estate closing documents, reviewing title and survey reports, ordering and analyzing searches for UCC filings, tax liens, and judgments, as well as coordinating closings and ensuring all documentation is properly executed. The role also involves assisting with corporate entity formations, compliance filings, and supporting transactional matters through research, document proofing, and organization. Additionally, the paralegal will supervise Project Assistants as needed.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or an ABA-approved Paralegal Certification. The paralegal position requires at least two years of relevant experience, while the senior paralegal role requires seven or more years. Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, corporate entity formations, and closing procedures is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice software, as well as excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, is required. The salary range in New York is $70,000–$92,400 for a paralegal and $85,000–$140,540 for a senior paralegal. This position requires the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment.
