The Director of Professional Development will lead a team focused on managing attorney training, curriculum, and continuing legal education (CLE). Core responsibilities include creating and implementing a professional development strategy, collaborating with leadership to assess training needs, and overseeing firmwide learning initiatives. The director will maintain relationships with external consultants, track CLE compliance, and enhance mentorship programs.

Collaboration with recruiting and business development teams is essential, along with evaluating training effectiveness and staying informed on talent development trends. Key qualifications include ten years of experience in professional development within law firms, preferably with a J.D., strong interpersonal and analytical skills, and strategic planning abilities. The firm offers a competitive salary ranging from $230,000 to $260,000, with actual compensation dependent on experience, qualifications, and skills.
