The paralegal will assist attorneys in various transactional and governance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate maintenance, and finance. Key responsibilities include coordinating, preparing, and filing beneficial owner report filings with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).
Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of general office practices, federal and state filing procedures for corporations and partnerships, and legal requirements for corporate changes. Proficiency in legal terminology, as well as strong writing and language skills, is essential.
Required skills include advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and litigation management platforms like PACER and Westlaw, with a typing speed of 75+ wpm. The ability to produce well-organized documents, manage workloads within deadlines, and collaborate effectively with team members is crucial. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary, as the role involves daily interaction with clients and colleagues. The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $145,000.
