The Conflicts/New Matters Intake Clerk, based in the Denver, Houston, or Dallas offices, will work closely with attorneys, conflicts clerks, analysts, and the Intake/Conflicts Manager. The role involves reviewing and processing new client and matter intake documents, updating client/matter information, and conducting research on intake requests against the firm’s conflicts database. Additional responsibilities include performing data entry, following up on conflicts issues, and ensuring adherence to firm policies and procedures. The clerk will be expected to analyze data, identify potential issues, and notify the appropriate parties. Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure are essential.
A strong organizational ability and confidentiality are required, as well as the flexibility to adjust to changing circumstances. The position requires 1-2 years of legal conflicts experience in a large firm, or equivalent studies, and familiarity with tools such as Intapp and CMS/Aderant is a plus. The hours for this role are from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $75,000, based on qualifications, and includes benefits like healthcare, retirement, paid time off, parental leave, and performance-based bonuses.
