The Client Intake Analyst plays a critical role in the Firm’s Client Intake Department by mitigating risks associated with new business. This position involves researching legal entities, conducting conflict searches, and generating reports to identify potential conflicts of interest. The Analyst provides guidance on intake policies, maintains accurate records, and collaborates with attorneys and colleagues to support the firm’s operations. Responsibilities also include weekend and holiday on-call coverage for time-sensitive requests and other duties as assigned.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in conflicts analysis or a similar environment. Familiarity with conflict rules under the Rules of Professional Conduct is essential, along with exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. A high level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines are critical. Proficiency in tools like Intapp, CapIQ, LexisNexis, and standard office software is preferred.
This position requires 60% in-office presence, with 40% remote work flexibility, and may involve occasional overtime. It offers a salary range of $70,000–$85,000 and can be based in Boston, New York, or Washington, D.C.
