Our client is seeking a Docketing Coordinator in the Client Value & Practice Management department. The role, available in Dallas, Houston, New York, or Washington, DC, supports the firm's centralized case management system (CourtAlert) and assists with e-filing. The Docketing Coordinator is responsible for timely docketing and calendaring services, document preparation for filings, and providing training to new team members. The position involves managing the docketing inboxes, processing case filings, conducting court rule research, and updating attorney credentials.
The role requires a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication with attorneys, secretaries, and staff is essential, and the coordinator is expected to uphold the firm's core values while ensuring superior service.
Qualifications include a high school diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred), at least 5 years of law firm docketing experience, proficiency with CourtAlert or other calendaring software, and knowledge of court rules. Strong MS Office skills, independent work ability, and a proactive attitude are also essential. The base salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 in New York and Washington, DC.
