Our client’s Marketing Department is seeking an organized and proactive Business Development (BD) Specialist to support the transactional practice group initiatives. This role can be based in the Boston, Chicago, New York, or Washington, DC office. The BD Specialist will assist in a variety of business development activities, including supporting the implementation of strategic business plans, preparing pitches and proposals, tracking business development efforts, and managing content for the firm’s website and experience database. This position also involves working with partners on client events, directory submissions, and the integration of new lateral hires.
The ideal candidate should possess a four-year degree and at least four years of marketing and business development experience, with knowledge of transactional practices preferred. Strong project management, communication, and writing skills are essential, as is proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as InterAction. The ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines, and maintain confidentiality is critical.
The base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $110,000, depending on experience and location. Applicants are required to submit a resume, cover letter, and brief writing sample.
