The E-Billing Specialist is responsible for managing the firm's e-billing processes, ensuring compliance with client billing systems and guidelines. Key duties include enrolling the firm in client-requested e-billing platforms, submitting timekeepers and rates for approval, and ensuring access to new matters in systems like Intapp Open. They work closely with billing teams to monitor e-bill uploads, processing, and payment, addressing issues like invoice rejections and short payments. The role involves frequent communication with attorneys, clients, and internal staff to ensure compliance with billing requirements such as budgets and accruals. The specialist also handles billing inquiries, creates billing schedules, and assists with special projects.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree (preferred), at least five years of law firm e-billing experience, and proficiency in 3E or Aderant and eBilling Hub. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills are essential, along with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The role demands adaptability to changing priorities, independent initiative, and flexibility with work hours. Strict confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
Salary range: $70,000 - $95,000
