Our client is seeking a Litigation Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support to litigation attorneys. Responsibilities include drafting and editing legal documents, handling court filings and e-filings, coordinating meetings and depositions, maintaining attorneys' calendars, and assisting with case management tasks such as opening and closing matters and entering attorney time. The role requires strong organizational, word processing, and formatting skills, including experience with tables of contents and authorities. The assistant must be capable of e-filing independently and have a solid understanding of state and federal court rules and procedures.
Ideal candidates should have 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience and work effectively under pressure in a team setting. Experience supporting corporate attorneys is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, and candidates should be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
