Our client is seeking an experienced Healthcare Litigation Paralegal for their Orange County office. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and hold an ABA-approved paralegal certificate. Responsibilities include managing case files related to healthcare litigation, such as reviewing medical and billing claims, working with large Excel datasets (including creating pivot tables and formulas), and overseeing case management tasks like discovery, expert witness preparation, and trial support. The paralegal will also maintain client communication, manage confidentiality, and track billable hours.

Essential skills include thorough knowledge of federal and state court procedures, advanced Excel proficiency, and familiarity with legal software such as Relativity, RelOne, Adobe Acrobat, and Lexis CaseNotebook. The candidate should have strong organizational abilities, proofreading skills, and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team. Effective communication, decision-making, and a strategic approach to case management are key.

Healthcare litigation experience and trial support are advantageous, while an interest in healthcare law is a plus. The salary range is $90,000 to $125,000 annually, with potential bonuses depending on experience and performance.
