The FinCEN Corporate Paralegal position in Los Angeles requires 5-10 years of experience and an ABA-approved paralegal certificate. The paralegal will support attorneys in various transactional and governance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity, securities, and corporate formation. A key responsibility is preparing and filing FinCEN beneficial owner report filings.
The ideal candidate must be familiar with federal, state, and county forms related to corporations and partnerships, as well as legal procedures for corporate amendments, withdrawals, mergers, and dissolutions. Additional knowledge of compensation plans, insurance programs, and legal terminology is necessary.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and litigation management tools like PACER, Relativity, and Westlaw is required, along with the ability to type 75+ words per minute. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role involves daily interactions with clients and colleagues.
The salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $145,000.
