Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal

The IP Litigation Paralegal will provide extensive support to attorneys in complex intellectual property litigation, focusing on U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) and section 337 cases. Responsibilities include managing case logistics, discovery processes, and trial preparation, specifically handling tasks like document production, legal research, and coordination with experts and clients. The paralegal will oversee electronic and paper discovery, prepare for hearings, assist with filings, and manage trial exhibits and war rooms. Additionally, they will research case materials, monitor rule changes in courts and administrative forums, and mentor junior staff.

Key qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, at least seven years of litigation experience (preferably in patent and ITC litigation), and proficiency in legal software such as Relativity and TrialDirector. The role demands excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure. Strong attention to detail and customer service are essential.

This position is hybrid, requiring 60% office presence. The salary range for Washington, DC is $125,000–$150,000, plus bonus eligibility and benefits. Flexibility for overtime and travel is expected.
