Our client is seeking a highly motivated and creative Business Development Manager to join their Private Investment Funds (PIF) Group. This individual will collaborate closely with the Business Development team and other global colleagues to drive client development, new business pursuits, and strategic initiatives that enhance market awareness and support revenue and relationship growth within the PIF asset class. This role is highly visible and involves regular interaction with partners and key stakeholders.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Business Development (Corporate, Funds), the Manager will play a crucial role in cross-selling initiatives across the Private Capital platform, while also managing junior team members. The responsibilities include identifying and assessing client expansion opportunities, developing and executing business strategies, organizing regular meetings, and supporting lawyers in strengthening client relationships. The role also involves proactively identifying pitch opportunities, leading new business presentations, and collaborating with the pricing team to develop competitive fee arrangements.
Additionally, the Manager will work with the Communications Team on marketing campaigns, industry reports, and promotional activities, as well as manage and evaluate events, sponsorships, and conference opportunities. The position requires 6-8 years of relevant experience, strong project management skills, and excellent communication abilities. This role requires regular in-office presence, with a compensation range of $110,000 - $160,000, based on experience and qualifications.
