The IP Docketing Specialist is responsible for reviewing, entering, and processing intellectual property (IP) prosecution correspondence, including patent, trademark, and copyright, from the USPTO, UKIPO, EUIPO, and foreign associates into a cloud-based docketing system. Candidates should have 3-5 years of IP docketing experience, excellent organizational skills, and strong attention to detail. They must be able to work autonomously, handle competing priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
Key responsibilities include entering and tracking critical dates, processing incoming correspondence, preparing reports, and maintaining the integrity of the CPi docketing system. The specialist also reviews team members' work and ensures the accurate processing of documents from the PTO and foreign associates.
The position requires an undergraduate degree, CPI docketing system experience, and strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office. The ability to communicate effectively, exercise independent judgment, and manage a heavy workload is essential. This full-time, non-exempt role operates Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work. The salary range is $78,000 to $104,000+ based on experience and qualifications. No travel is required, and the position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.
