Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant

A leading law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to support its busy litigation team. The ideal candidate should have five to seven years of experience in various areas of litigation, including Complex Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, National Class Action, and Mass Torts. Key responsibilities include e-filing and e-service with federal and state courts, adhering to local court rules, and mastering Microsoft Office applications. The assistant will aid attorneys in preparing, proofreading, and revising legal documents, create briefing binders, and manage calendars using Vision Compulaw and Outlook.

Additionally, the role involves maintaining files in FileSite/iManage, handling new business intake, managing client billing, and coordinating travel and appointments. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The position may require overtime and cross-desk support during absences of other assistants. The expected salary range is between $80,000 and $90,000, based on qualifications and experience.
