Senior Business Development Specialist (Corporate)

The Senior Business Development Specialist (SBDS) supports the Corporate Section’s efforts to secure new business and enhance client relationships. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the SBDS manages a variety of projects, including preparing business pitches, organizing networking events, and developing marketing collateral. The role involves assisting with the coordination of firm-hosted seminars, webinars, and co-sponsored events, as well as overseeing event logistics like branding, catering, and venue setup.

The SBDS is also responsible for editing and maintaining business development materials, including attorney profiles and industry descriptions, and ensuring the section’s experience is accurately reflected in the CRM. They assist with proposals and pitches, track outcomes, and maintain online content such as case studies and advisories. Additional duties include supporting attorneys in completing industry surveys and handling other marketing and business development tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of experience in marketing or business development, preferably in a law firm, strong communication skills, and excellent organizational abilities. The role requires a 60% in-office presence, offers a salary range of $65,000 to $80,000, and is bonus eligible with comprehensive benefits.
