Senior Research Analyst

The Senior Research Analyst at a law firm is responsible for delivering expert research services across legal, business, and other areas to attorneys and staff. Reporting to the Manager of Research Services, this role specializes in specific subjects, industries, or research types and leads various projects. Key responsibilities include conducting high-level research, mentoring junior staff, and participating in training programs. The analyst also assists in developing research guides, supports internal training efforts, and contributes to the firm's knowledge management initiatives.

Additionally, the Senior Research Analyst stays updated on emerging research technologies and methodologies, recommending new resources and assisting with collection development. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Candidates must possess a Master’s in Library Science and have at least five years of progressive experience, preferably in a law firm.

This role requires a hybrid work schedule (60% in-office) and offers a salary range of $80,000 to $130,000, along with eligibility for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. The position is aimed at those who are proactive, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
