Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant

The Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative support to attorneys and paralegals in the litigation practice area, managing data in litigation repositories, electronic files, and other firm applications. Key responsibilities include maintaining attorney dockets, preparing draft documents such as answers, discovery documents, motions, and memos, and assisting with the briefing process, including formatting and generating tables of contents and authorities. The assistant will also file documents electronically, manage project timelines, coordinate attorney calendars, organize meetings, arrange travel, and handle expense reports. Additionally, they will be responsible for formatting and editing complex documents, scheduling depositions, entering time entries, and supporting various litigation team tasks with minimal supervision.

This position requires a minimum of five years of litigation experience, strong communication, proofreading, and writing skills, as well as a high level of attention to detail. Candidates should have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, a high school diploma (an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred), and strong organizational skills. The role demands a professional demeanor, the ability to maintain confidentiality, problem-solving skills, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Flexibility to adjust hours when necessary is also required.
