The Business Intake Specialist - Ethical Walls plays a vital role in the Business Intake & Conflicts Department, assisting attorneys with compliance and risk management during new business processes and ongoing obligations. This dynamic position involves processing requests, maintaining ethical walls, identifying potential risks, and ensuring all activities comply with Firm policies and business requirements. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure while providing exceptional customer service. Training will be provided for the role.

Key responsibilities include establishing, maintaining, and auditing ethical walls using Intapp’s WallBuilder application, reviewing conflict analysis and retention letters to determine screening needs, and drafting and circulating screening memos. The Specialist monitors wall activity, responds to inquiries from the Office of the General Counsel and Risk Management leadership, and assists in developing screening policies and procedures. The role also involves collaborating with the Business Intake and Conflicts teams to resolve time-sensitive issues, supporting leadership with special projects, and being available for urgent and confidential situations.

A bachelor’s degree is required, with a master’s degree and legal industry experience preferred. The ideal candidate should have at least five years of relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and strong analytical abilities. The salary range for this position is $92,000 to $137,000, depending on experience, education, and location.
