Estate Planning Attorney
Long Island, NY ยท LegalA Long Island-based, award-winning firm is seeking a motivated Estate Planning Attorney to join its Estate Planning & Estate Administration Practice Groups. This firm, known for its collegial atmosphere and transparent management culture, offers substantial opportunities for professional development and long-term success.
The ideal candidate should have over five years of experience in estate, corporate, and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and families. Experience in client acquisition, management, and estate administration from probate to litigation is essential. Expertise in drafting estate planning documents (Wills, Trusts, Power of Attorney, Healthcare Proxy, Living Wills) and corporate succession planning documents, including LLCs, is required.
Candidates must possess excellent client interaction skills, with the ability to handle consultations, planning meetings, seminars, and webinars. The role requires overseeing a large caseload and paralegal staff. Attorneys are expected to be fully responsible for their work and caseloads, offering extensive client contact and opportunities to represent the firm externally. The position offers autonomy and independence within a collaborative team.
