Litigation Docketing Specialist

The Docket & Calendar Specialist I plays a crucial role in the Docket & Calendar Department, reporting to the Docket & Calendar Manager. This position demands a strong understanding of State, Federal, and Local court rules and the litigation process, including deadline calculations. The Specialist I will work independently and collaboratively to ensure a well-functioning docketing team, requiring at least 1 year of relevant experience and familiarity with an automated docket system, preferably CompuLaw.

Key responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, ensuring high-quality document processing, performing accurate quality control, and utilizing court rules and resources efficiently. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and proficiency with docket software are essential. Candidates must be adaptable, reliable, and able to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.

The role involves communication with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff regarding calendars and court procedures, and may require occasional office attendance. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required, with a preference for candidates knowledgeable in California, Texas, Illinois, Washington DC, Virginia, and/or Maryland court rules. The position offers remote work flexibility with a pay range of $35.00 to $47.00 per hour, depending on location.
