Business Development - Coordinator (Latin America practice)

The Coordinator - Business Development role supports the Firm's efforts to generate new business, particularly within the Latin America practice, by working closely with Business Development Analysts, Managers, and lawyers. This position involves leveraging research, writing, technical, and communication skills to assist with both internal and external practice development initiatives. Responsibilities include preparing and updating pitch materials, maintaining lawyer biographies, managing records in the Firm's CRM system, and assisting with legal directory submissions. The Coordinator will also support competitive intelligence research to inform lawyers about market trends and client prospects.

Additionally, the role involves coordinating practice development trips, organizing meetings, and assisting with internally-hosted events. The Coordinator will collaborate with the Digital Marketing and Communications teams to update practice information on the Firm's website and social media platforms. They will also research conferences and speaking opportunities to present suitable marketing opportunities to partners.

Qualifications include excellent writing, editing, and research skills, proficiency in Spanish, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment. A BA or equivalent is required, with one to three years of experience in a law firm or professional services setting preferred. The salary range is $60,000 to $75,000, based on individual qualifications and firm needs.
