Our client, a Chicago law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney with over 10 years of experience in civil litigation for its General Liability and Toxic Tort Practice Groups. The role requires exceptional research, writing, and litigation skills. Key responsibilities include proactive case management in state and federal courts, drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and conducting research. The attorney will also handle client communications, provide legal analysis, coordinate with expert witnesses, and attend depositions, hearings, and mediations. Trial preparation and attendance are essential parts of the job.

Qualifications for this position include a J.D. degree from an accredited law school and a license to practice in Illinois and Indiana, with other states being a plus. Candidates should have significant litigation and Toxic Tort experience in state and federal courts, demonstrating an ability to manage cases from start to finish.
