Marketing & Business Development Senior Specialist
New York, NY · Marketing/Public RelationsThe Marketing and Business Development Senior Specialist collaborates with the MBD leadership team, partners, practice group leaders, and other office leaders to execute projects, programs, and activities that market the firm's strengths and capabilities, particularly for the New York office. This role supports litigation and corporate practice groups through various initiatives, including targeted client outreach, webinars, sponsorships, podcasts, directory submissions, and proposals and pitches.
Responsibilities involve preparing high-quality pitches, proposals, and RFP responses by researching firm and partner experience, strategizing key message points, and highlighting differentiators. The specialist administers and improves business development initiatives, coordinates and drafts submissions for directories and awards, conducts targeted research and competitive analysis, and maintains tracking systems and databases such as the pitch tracker, collateral library, and experience database. Success in this role requires establishing strong relationships with colleagues, other firm departments, and attorneys.
The position demands strong project management skills, analytical abilities, organizational and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and marketing technology experience, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or ClickDimensions. The role requires at least four years of experience in professional services, fluency in MS Office, and a B.A./B.S. in a related field.
The expected salary range for this position is between $95,000 - $110,000. The actual base salary offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
