Litigation Legal Assistant

Our client is looking for an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant with a minimum of five years in Civil or Commercial Litigation, specifically in White Collar Litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, proofreading, and administrative skills, with a thorough understanding of legal terminology, calendaring, and filing requirements in both California and Federal Courts. Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Adobe is required, while experience with FileSite/iManage is a plus.

The role involves formatting, proofreading, and finalizing pleadings, discovery, and correspondence, processing and scanning incoming mail, and maintaining professional interactions with clients, attorneys, and court staff. Duties also include managing case files, scheduling appointments and events in Outlook, ensuring timely deadlines, serving and filing legal documents, making travel arrangements for attorneys, and preparing expense reimbursements. Candidates must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

The expected salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $100,000. The actual base salary offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
