Senior IT Services Technician (Palo Alto)

The Senior IT Services Technician is responsible for overseeing local IT operations, providing technical support, and ensuring a high-quality technology experience for the firm's lawyers, staff, and clients. This role involves managing end-user technology, office devices, and conferencing systems. The technician works closely with the IT Regional Manager to deliver responsive and proactive IT services, handling issues ranging from hardware and software troubleshooting to device deployment and lifecycle management. Responsibilities include leading local support, diagnosing technology problems, managing maintenance contracts, and participating in special projects. The role also requires continuous improvement of IT services, supporting facility upgrades, and maintaining departmental records.

The position demands a solid technical background, including experience with common operating systems, end-user device repair, audio-visual technologies, and networking equipment. A college degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with technical certifications (e.g., MCSE, Cisco CCNA), is preferred. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a service-oriented approach. The salary range is $80,300 - $113,000, depending on experience.
