Practice Group Administrator - Trademark

The Practice Group Administrator will oversee operational and functional aspects of the IP and Trademark team. This role involves managing finance and pricing, business and client development, talent management, and strategic growth execution. Key responsibilities include processing and verifying billing, creating financial reports and client accruals, and maintaining a database of IP documents. The administrator will also collaborate with marketing to develop materials, plan events, and support client interactions. Additionally, the role includes managing the practice group's budget, reviewing CLE opportunities, and maintaining trademark prosecution and enforcement files on NetDocs.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and 3-6 years of relevant experience in a law firm. Strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required, with experience in Aderant Expert, Chrome River, and NetDocs preferred. Familiarity with trademark docketing and USPTO Financial Manager is a plus. The role requires the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and build effective relationships with lawyers, staff, and clients. In New York City, the salary range is $80,000 to $110,000.
