Business Development Manager - M&A

The Business Development Manager—M&A supports the Senior Business Development Manager in executing strategic business development and marketing efforts for the M&A practice and related transactional practices. The role involves working closely with practice leaders, the BD department senior management, and operational teams to develop and achieve business plan objectives.

Key responsibilities include supporting strategic planning priorities, maintaining various partner and client plans, conducting market and competitor research, and supporting cross-selling initiatives. The role also involves preparing pitches, RFPs, marketing materials, and organizing client events.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, 5-7 years of experience in a business development or marketing role within a professional services environment, and specific experience in Corporate/M&A within a law firm. The ideal candidate should exhibit leadership qualities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment with shifting priorities.

The salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $185,000, with competitive compensation and benefits packages. The role demands strong analytical skills, a meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
